I'm still here!

I'm still here! We've been crazy busy, still...I have some cute pictures on my camera.....now if I could just find the darn thing! Hmmmm, I will keep checking and post some new pics soon!

Here's an older one to tide you over:

Aren't they CUTE???? This was a YEAR ago already! Wyatt's hair cracks me up....kinda looks like an old school "bowl" haircut.

Hanging out with the little one

Today was a gorgeous day, a little too warm in the sun, but just right in the shade, which is where Wyatt and I hung out while we were waiting for Grandma and Poppa to arrive. It was a good day, thanks for coming to see us Mom and Dad! P.S. - The cookies were awesome!

A Cheerleader in the making

Kirsten and her friend Avery were part of a group of girls who got to do a cheer routine at half time of the Mac High vs. Gresham High game Friday night. They had a blast and I can just picture myself watching Kirsten, presumably as the captain of the team, at many cheerleading events in the not too distant future :) Love you sis!

Did I ever mention I was married to a real life redneck?

I would like to think this is self explanatory, but I'm pretty sure it doesn't quite fall into that category. Troy and I have been talking for years about buying some sort of camper/travel trailer. We just have never agreed on what to get. He wants something used that he can "trash on" in the woods while hunting. I want something new and nice that's going to last a long time, and that I can park next to Bonnie's trailer while we drink like fish and watch our kids play at Cape Kiwanda. So, since we never have quite come to an agreement, this is what my dear hubby spent all weekend building. Wow. This is where he will sleep and store his stuff while hunting this season. Looks like I'll be renting a cabin @ cape Kiwanda!

Miss Kirsten

In case you didn't know, our Miss Kirsten loves to sing. She was asked to sing at church last weekend and sang the opening song. She started at the back of the church and walked forward while singing a capella. Dang she has some guts. I don't even like to sit in the front, let alone walk down the aisle singing! I don't know where she gets it from!

Our youngest artist

I picked up Wyatt from daycare today and he was so proud to show me his artwork. They do a preschool lesson each morning, and today was the first day he really participated. He painted an apple:

and scribbled on a star worksheet:

He couldn't wait to get home and show everyone his work, he held onto his papers the whole way home and carried them in the house and shouted "look at dis" until everyone acknowledged him :)

First Day of School!

Mr. Noah started 2nd grade today and Miss Kirsten started 5th grade. They both had great days at school and are looking forward to an awesome school year. Wyatt also had a great day at his "school" (his new day care). He was so cute when I told him it was his turn to go to his new school and meet his friends, he said "My School??" Like he could hardly beleive he got to do something new and fun too! Ahhhh...so cute!
