Sunday

What a lazy day we had! Watched a movie, had a picnic lunch, tried to play at the park but it was too friggin hot, A rare moment of Wyatt letting big Sis help him with his shoes. Usually its "I do it myself". Today it was too hot for him to protest. We decided to go the library instead to cool down. Wyatt loves to play in the kids section, we did puzzles and visited the gerbils while Kirsten looked at books in the "Teen" section. Oh my...

Then it was back home for another movie...It wasn't the best movie I've ever seen, but Jim Carey always makes me laugh, so it wasn't a complete waste of time :)

Talked to Troy on the phone for awhile, he's enjoying working in Alaska, but misses us and we miss him. Its only been a week, this could be a looonnnggg adventure.

Hmmm.....

So I haven't been on this site for quite some time it seems. Thinking I'll make a go of it and try to be a "blogger" again :)

I did just acquire a pretty new camera, so that may entice me to take more pictures and get them on here!
This camera is so good, it magnifies the dirt on Wyatt's face! Still a pretty cute picture though....

More Later!

Happy Trees

Our pretty Japanese lace leaf maple tree in our front yard, 2 days ago:

Our outside Christmas tree:
Both trees are buried in snow now and you can hardly see the animated deer in the yard. Crazy!

Snow Day

Wow we have a lot of snow! These pictures were taken this morning and early afternoon. I bet it's almost doubled since then, and they say we could get much more in the next 4-5 hours. So much for my last minute Christmas shopping! Luckily, my sweet husband can drive just fine in this stuff, so he's been chauferring us around town (including taking me to Dayton this morning for my hair appointment~no snow's gonna stop me from getting my hair cut and colored!)

Our Street:

Super dog!! Van sure loves this stuff :) He loves to pull us in the sled, and run around eating the falling snow. Notice poor Wyatt in the backgroud? He forgot to hold on :)

McMinnville PD Kids Christmas Party 12/6/08

My work hosted a kids Christmas party last weekend, it was really fun! One of our reserve officers dressed as Santa and gave the kids presents, and then there was cookie decorating, crafts and the wii was set up for the kids to play on the big screen tv. There was also a potluck with awesome food. I love having this job, it is so nice to work for a family oriented place. I can't beleive how lucky I am :)

Christmas tree hunting 12/7/08

The Kepler clan, getting a Christmas tree. We got a noble tree this year, I really like it, it's pretty and it smells so pine-y :)

Fun in the Snow - Part II

Oy vey. I've got my hands full with this pretty girl :)

Kirsten, modeling her snow clothes

Noah was circling around the penguin, we now have a "figure 8" style sled track in our front yard.

Hi Noah!!!

Kirsten and Noah were trying to convince Wyatt to come stand in front of the tree with them. They were telling him how sad they were because he wouldn't join them. They're pretty good actors aren't they?
