Happy Trees

Our pretty Japanese lace leaf maple tree in our front yard, 2 days ago:

Our outside Christmas tree:
Both trees are buried in snow now and you can hardly see the animated deer in the yard. Crazy!

Snow Day

Wow we have a lot of snow! These pictures were taken this morning and early afternoon. I bet it's almost doubled since then, and they say we could get much more in the next 4-5 hours. So much for my last minute Christmas shopping! Luckily, my sweet husband can drive just fine in this stuff, so he's been chauferring us around town (including taking me to Dayton this morning for my hair appointment~no snow's gonna stop me from getting my hair cut and colored!)

Our Street:

Super dog!! Van sure loves this stuff :) He loves to pull us in the sled, and run around eating the falling snow. Notice poor Wyatt in the backgroud? He forgot to hold on :)

McMinnville PD Kids Christmas Party 12/6/08

My work hosted a kids Christmas party last weekend, it was really fun! One of our reserve officers dressed as Santa and gave the kids presents, and then there was cookie decorating, crafts and the wii was set up for the kids to play on the big screen tv. There was also a potluck with awesome food. I love having this job, it is so nice to work for a family oriented place. I can't beleive how lucky I am :)

Christmas tree hunting 12/7/08

The Kepler clan, getting a Christmas tree. We got a noble tree this year, I really like it, it's pretty and it smells so pine-y :)

Fun in the Snow - Part II

Oy vey. I've got my hands full with this pretty girl :)

Kirsten, modeling her snow clothes

Noah was circling around the penguin, we now have a "figure 8" style sled track in our front yard.

Hi Noah!!!

Kirsten and Noah were trying to convince Wyatt to come stand in front of the tree with them. They were telling him how sad they were because he wouldn't join them. They're pretty good actors aren't they?

Fun in the Snow

Hi Wy Wy!!!

All bundled up to go out and play!

My Thanksgiving Twilight Tour

My own little "Twilight" tour - Yesterday after we ate our yummy Thanksgiving dinner, my Mom and I went for a drive. I knew that part of Twilight was filmed in St. Helens, but I had no idea that Bella & Charlie's house was there too! I thought it was in Washington. Anyway, it was very cool to drive right up to the house. I got some great pictures. Mom and I then drove "downtown" and I snapped a few pics of the theater, which you see briefly in the movie, and the courthouse. We also drove down to the marina, which I'm pretty sure is where they filmed the scene where James & Victoria attack the guy on the boat. Oh and I can't figure out how to turn the pictures around, so sorry, you'll have to tilt your head :)

Wyatt singing his new song

Wyatt made up a song the other day, and I was lucky enough to catch it on cell phone video today. You kinda have to see it to beleive it, but this gives you an idea of the funny-ness :)

He's tuning his guitar, and telling me "not yet" when I asked him to sing. My silly boy CRACKS me up!!

Cute video from my cell phone

Wyatt dancing to the music on Halloween at the Trunk or Treat. Also, you get to hear Troy and I commenting on someone's really inappropriate costume. Skin tight 80's jeans on a 300+ lb woman. Scary!

The costumes

The cutest dinosaur ever :)

Noah really was excited to go trick or treating, he just couldn't see. Apparently the one ray of sunshine from today was in his eyes. Kirsten practiced her "scary glare" to perfect her "Bad Fairy" costume.

Pumpking Patch Field trip

Wow what a rainy day it was for Noah's class field trip today. We went out to Sweet Oregon Berry Farm (@ the corner of Hwy 18 & Hwy 99). It was pouring when we got there. i couldn't even take pictures because my camera was getting soaked. Poor Wyatt wasn't feeling well, but I took him anyway. Word has it that I'm up for the "Mom of the Year" award for taking my sick toddler to the pumpkin patch in the rain. :)

Noah stops running around like a wild man long enough for me to take a picture.
Wyatt points out a goat for me.

Jumping off the rope swing into a pile of wet foam squares. Ahhh.....good times!

Pumpkin Carving

Noah thought the guts of the pumpkin were a little gross. He's right, I can't stand touching that stuff! Yuck!

Wyatt's new friend

Wyatt got to visit the Build a Bear workshop last weekend. Auntie Carole spoiled him with a new puppy that he picked out all by himself. Wyatt watched the lady fill him up with stuffing, gave him a "bath" and picked out a Batman t-shirt for him. Then we got to make a birth certificate for him, so he chose the name (with sissy's help) "Batman Puppy Kepler"

Please excuse the messy table in the background. That's just normal life around here :)

Check out Wyatt's new phone!

Bet you don't have a phone as cool as Wyatt's! He had quite the discussion with someone, we're not sure who, then he got tired of talking and decided to eat his phone. So funny!

Another masterpiece from Wyatt

This week at Daycare was "D" week, as well as Fire Safety week. Wyatt was so proud of his "D" picture, he just loves making projects at his "school". Plus, he loves the color orange, so making this was extra fun.
He also got to learn about firemen and fire safety. He is having so much fun there, and I couldn't be happier!

1 kid, 2 kids, 3!!!

Wyatt and Noah and Kirsten enjoyed some outside time the other day, it was just a beautiful afternoon and they played until it was almost dark! Gotta soak up the last rays of sunshine while we can!

Noah's sleeping peacefully.....

and my dog looks dead....lol! seriously, this picture cracks me up. Noah spent one night last week sleeping on the couch with his buddy Van. Van is comatose when he sleeps and Noah is just plain cute :)
